No need to worry about finding a parking spot anymore！Taipei Zoo Underground Parking Lot begins operation on the 17th

You no longer have to worry about not finding a parking space when visiting the zoo. Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation, commissioned by the Taipei City Department of Transportation, has taken over the management of the underground parking lot at Taipei Zoo Station,which will be open to the public starting from the 17th, featuring 150 car parking spaces and 200 motorcycle parking spaces, providing parking services for visitors heading to the zoo and Maokong Gondola.

The underground parking lot at Taipei Zoo Station is conveniently located near both the Maokong Gondola and Taipei Zoo, making it easy to walk to. Whether you're visiting the zoo or heading up the mountain to escape the summer heat, it's a very comfortable experience. Parents can take their kids to see the animals in the morning, then take the Maokong Gondola up the mountain to enjoy delicious food and tea, spending an intellectual and relaxing family holiday.

In addition, monthly passes for the Taipei Zoo Station underground parking lot will go on sale starting August 25. The daytime limited-time monthly pass for cars is priced at NT$800, available for parking between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. on weekdays (Monday to Friday, excluding government-declared national holidays). From 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and during holidays, the standard hourly rate applies. The all-day monthly pass for motorcycles is NT$300, available for parking anytime on both weekdays and holidays. Those who need it can purchase it at the management office on the first basement level of the parking lot.

The temporary parking rates for the Taipei Zoo Station underground parking lot are as follows:
◎ Car Rates:
Weekdays: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., NT$20 per hour; 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., NT$10 per hour.
Holidays: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., NT$60 per hour; 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., NT$10 per hour.
◎ Motorcycle Rates: No distinction between weekdays and holidays, NT$20 per temporary stay, with additional charges for the next day.
