From June 19 to 21, 2012, La Ya Outdoor Products Co., Ltd. and La Sptiva Outdoor Products Co., Ltd., showcased their five premium outdoor brands: Italy’s top alpine boot brand La Sportiva, the UK’s lightweight trail running shoe pioneer INOV-8, the UK’s lightweight outdoor apparel brand Montane, Switzerland’s leading women’s-specific outdoor brand Wild Roses, as well as Italy’s century-old climbing gear brands CAMP and CASSIN, at Beijing’s Jingzhi Lake Resort.
During the event, Mr. Nelson Lin, Deputy General Manager of La Ya, shared insights on the European and American outdoor footwear market trends over the past two years with dealers from across the country. Meanwhile, Product Manager Mr. Mi provided a detailed explanation of the design concepts and technical features of the 2013 new product lines for each brand.
Notably, the INOV-8 Recolite 190 series, which received positive market feedback in 2011, not only introduced new and more vibrant color options but also extended its design into urban casual multi-purpose shoes with the launch of the Recolite 267 and 268 series, all while building upon the original technology.
La Sportiva, which has focused on Mountain Running for over a decade, combined the successful Morpho Dynamic technology from its Quantum and Electron models with Vibram outsoles to develop the 2.0 version of the MD outsole, resulting in the launch of the Quantum 2.0 series. At the same time, the Vertical K series, which gained widespread acclaim among extreme trail runners shortly after its March 2012 debut, also saw the introduction of the Helios variant—retaining the Vertical K’s signature features while improving comfort.
On the second day of the conference, taking advantage of the picturesque surroundings of Jingzhi Lake Resort, La Ya organized a unique mini-hiking activity.
All participants who reached the summit received a raffle ticket and were eligible to join the lucky draw during the evening’s barbecue dinner. The grand prize was ultimately won by Manager Huang from Nanchang Wangyue Outdoor in Jiangxi Province, much to everyone’s envy.
