EVA Air Teams Up with Avianca: Just One Connection to Fly to El Salvador

EVA Air and Avianca have launched a codeshare partnership to expand their presence in Central America. The jointly operated routes include Taoyuan–Los Angeles–San Salvador, Taoyuan–San Francisco–San Salvador, and Taoyuan–New York–San Salvador.

Both Avianca and EVA Air are members of the Star Alliance and key carriers flying to Central and South America. Through this partnership, at least 20 weekly flights will operate from Taoyuan via the U.S. to San Salvador, with total travel time including connections taking as little as 20 hours. This not only makes it more convenient for Taiwanese travelers to visit Central and South America but also helps tap into the Central American market by attracting new visitors from the region to Taiwan and Asia.
