At a press conference held in the French town of Morzine, the German bicycle brand Haibike from Schweinfurt, together with Lapierre and Ghost, launched the world’s first e:i shock, an electronically intelligent full-suspension system for mountain bikes. This system represents the most advanced electronically intelligent suspension technology in the world today and will deliver an unprecedented riding experience for mountain bikers. Whether going uphill or downhill, riders no longer need to manually adjust the suspension — all adjustments are handled automatically by the onboard electronic intelligent suspension regulator. Three onboard electronic sensors continuously collect and monitor data on speed, acceleration, fork pressure, and crank rotation speed. All collected data is ultimately processed by the e:i shock control center. The entire process of data collection, processing, and command transmission is completed within 0.1 seconds. Based on commands from the control center, the suspension system automatically adjusts the damping intensity according to different terrains. With this revolutionary innovation, riders only need to manage braking, gear shifting, and direction — everything else is handled automatically by the electronic sensors.
