In this ranking, Medog in Tibet ranks first and is hailed as the "hidden lotus, a mecca for hikers." Also making the list are the roof of the world — Mount Everest, China’s Alps — Mount Siguniang, and the precipitous Beijing Jiankou section of the Great Wall, among others.
