Tested at 8,300 meters
On May 19, 2012, the Tibet Sacred Mountain Expedition team successfully reached the summit of Mount Everest. The stoves and cookware carried by the climbing team were the Fire-Maple FMS-118 "Volcano" preheating tube split gas stove and G2 high-altitude gas canisters, which were used at Everest's Camp IV (at an altitude of 7,900m) and the Assault Camp (at an altitude of 8,300m), marking the highest-altitude use of Fire-Maple stoves and cookware to date.
