The 1st Miss Asian Cycling Competition was successfully held on the afternoon of September 28 during the 2nd Asian Cycling Expo. The competition for the championship, first and second runners-up was thrilling, as 20 finalists showcased their vibrant smiles and stunning figures through various segments including runway walks, Q&A sessions, and evening gown presentations, expressing the passion of youth and the collision with the world of cycling, treating the audience to a visual feast.

After parade displays at Nanjing Wanda Plaza and Deji Plaza on July 26 and 27, as well as multiple appearances at the opening ceremony of the Asian Cycling Expo, the Miss Asian Cycling contestants had already built considerable popularity. Therefore, when they appeared in cycling gear to the dynamic opening music of the competition, their youthful faces and approachable smiles instantly "wowed" the entire audience.
The contestants come from all walks of life—some are professional models, others are ordinary students—but they all share one thing in common: a love and dedication to cycling. This is also the theme of this year’s Miss Asian Cycling Competition: "Love life, love cycling."
Through the judges’ questions and comments, we also saw the contestants’ impressive eloquence. They shared their "cycling lifestyles," offered insights into biking knowledge, and expressed their passion for the sport of cycling.
The evening gown segment allowed us to admire the graceful and elegant side of these young, fashionable cycling queens. Dressed in formal gowns and having undergone prior training in etiquette and posture, they transformed into beautiful ambassadors who captivated the audience.
In the end, after fierce competition, the champions, runners-up, third-place winners, and recipients of various special awards were announced. Holding flowers and trophies, they radiated youthful energy, inspiring everyone present and becoming the most dazzling highlight of the 2012 Asian Cycling Expo. The 20 contestants collectively took the stage to showcase their charm, marking the successful conclusion of the 1st Miss Asian Cycling Competition, forever captured in the sweet smiles of each participant.
