KAILAS “No Fear for Beginners” Live Event
On November 17, the two-day Sanfo Outdoor 15th Anniversary Carnival was grandly held as scheduled at the Fireworks Plaza in Beijing’s Chaoyang Park. As a major event in the outdoor industry, numerous outdoor brands were invited to attend and contributed a variety of engaging on-site activities to the carnival’s success. Among them, the highlight of the largest activity area at the venue was undoubtedly the “No Fear for Beginners” bouldering competition hosted by KAILAS.

During the celebration, KAILAS set up a climbing wall on-site and provided climbing equipment so that every interested participant could freely and easily try the sport. In addition to explanations from carnival staff, three renowned KAILAS climbers — including world speed climbing champion Zhong Qixin, China’s first 9A route completer Wang Qinghua, and Hong Kong’s youngest fruit-picking king He Shanwei — gave live demonstrations for outdoor enthusiasts. Their professional skills and simple, practical tutorials attracted a crowd of outdoor lovers to watch and participate. The lighthearted interactions, practice moves, and the growing enthusiasm among new boulderers allowed the boundless charm and joy of bouldering to shine on everyone’s faces...

The carnival featured plenty of activities. Aside from bouldering, in the KAILAS zone and at various Sanfo Beijing stores, participants could try out KAILAS’s new climbing pants and autumn/winter collections, join lucky draws, and enjoy a series of other surprises. The bouldering experience also included multiple beginner-friendly routes, with winners receiving prizes from KAILAS.
