Recently, premium all-you-can-eat buffets have sparked a new wave of restaurant competition. Since the opening of the new brand “Feng FOOD Seafood & Meat Buffet” at Dazhi's Diai Hua, other buffet restaurants have been gearing up to challenge Taipei’s largest all-you-can-eat buffet. 1. Feng FOOD Seafood & Meat Buffet
“Feng FOOD Seafood & Meat Buffet” offers a wide range of cuisines including Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, Hong Kong/Macau, Vietnamese/Thai/Lao, Italian, and American, with over 200 unlimited dishes. The restaurant spans over 800 ping (approximately 2,640 square meters), with 600 seats, including an independent private room that can accommodate 300 people, making it the largest all-you-can-eat buffet in Taipei. Pricing is NT$890 for weekday lunch, NT$590 for afternoon tea, and NT$990 for weekday dinner; on weekends, lunch and dinner are NT$1090, and afternoon tea is NT$690, with a 10% service charge added to all prices.

2. Han Lai Harbor Buffet
Known as the “King of the South,” Han Lai Harbor Buffet currently has six branches across Taiwan and is said to have the richest variety of seafood in the country, with ingredients rotated seasonally.

Currently available at Kaohsiung Hanlai Branch, Kaohsiung Dome Branch, Tainan Branch, Taichung Branch, Taoyuan Branch, and Taipei Dunhua Branch. Prices are mostly under NT$1,000, except for the NT$1,080 dinner at the Dunhua Branch.

III. Shin Yeh Japanese Cuisine
Shin Yeh offers both Taiwanese cuisine and Japanese food. Its all-you-can-eat Japanese cuisine is popular among consumers due to its reasonable prices and urban locations. The maximum price for adults is NT$820 + 10%; there are five branches in Taipei and Taoyuan.

IV. Pin Hua Yuan
Located on the 5th floor, No. 66, Wugong Road, Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City, Pin Hua Yuan is touted as Taiwan’s largest buffet restaurant. The venue features 24 open kitchens with 30 chefs from various cuisines preparing dishes on-site, including Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indian, and Italian. 90% of the dishes are made to order, and a whole roasted suckling pig rotates inside the restaurant.

V. Thai Royal City Thai Buffet Restaurant
Thai Royal City is considered the first all-Thai cuisine buffet restaurant in central Taiwan. It specializes in Thai-themed dishes, sashimi, and carefully selected seasonal seafood. It also offers a special “made-to-order” menu, such as Thai spicy chicken, moon shrimp cakes, lemon fish, spicy sour seafood soup, coconut chicken soup, shrimp vermicelli burgers, and grilled steak. Covering 150 ping, it can accommodate up to 110 guests, featuring Thai-style décor. The price is uniformly NT$598 + 10% regardless of time slot.

VI. 50th Floor Café
Home to the nation’s highest buffet restaurant and offering breathtaking high-rise night views, it has become a popular dating spot. The restaurant also features a special parent-child dining area equipped with motorcycle rockers, miniature train tracks, coloring boards, and food-shaped plush toys—giving kids space to play after meals.

The dining area includes a sashimi station, chilled seafood station, cold stone plate station, sushi and hand roll station, salad bar, appetizer section, Asian hot food section, chef’s signature dishes, hot stone plate cuisine, as well as liquid nitrogen ice cream—the first of its kind in any five-star buffet. Over a hundred dishes are served per meal. Pricing is weekdays lunch 780 TWD, weekdays dinner 880 TWD, weekend lunch 880 TWD, and weekend dinner 980 TWD.

VII. Chaofang Dabagang Dim Sum All-You-Can-Eat Buffet
Hailing from Kaohsiung just like Hanlai Harbor Restaurant, Chaofang’s biggest highlight is its dim sum buffet format combined with stir-fried dishes, offering a total of a hundred delicacies. Especially with weekday lunch at 479 TWD, weekday dinner and holiday lunch/dinner at only 549 TWD, the price is considered extremely affordable in the Greater Taipei area. Meanwhile, the Chaofang outlets in Kaohsiung and Tainan offer weekday lunch at 429 TWD and weekday dinner/holiday lunch/dinner at 469 TWD; there are a total of 5 branches across Taiwan.

VIII. Grand Formosa Regent Kaohsiung Buffet
Located by the Love River in Kaohsiung, the Regent Hotel offers multi-national cuisines without resorting to flashy gimmicks. Its dishes and desserts are especially renowned and reliable locally. The desserts are exquisitely prepared, and the blue-and-white color scheme of the seating and staff uniforms gives diners the sense that not only is the food delicious, but the restaurant atmosphere is also refined.

IX. Dining Paradise
Originating in central Taiwan, Dining Paradise now has 10 branches nationwide. This highly popular all-you-can-eat restaurant is hard to get into without an advance reservation. Adult price up to 898 TWD + 10%

X. HanShe LeKitchen
Once voted the No. 1 all-you-can-eat restaurant by netizens, this buffet restaurant by the HanShe Group in Nangang District features four major dining zones—from dessert, cold dishes, and hot food to Japanese sashimi and sushi bars. Around 130 dishes are available daily, with the dessert section offering nearly 70 varieties being one of its highlights. It also boasts a very popular kids’ area that not only has play facilities but also on-site staff to take care of children. Price is 880 TWD + 10%.

XI. Taipei Sherwood Hotel Boulangerie
Since August 26, 2016, the Boulangerie Western Restaurant at Taipei Sherwood Hotel has been the first to launch the “Honest Cooking” initiative, collaborating with multiple local small farms to source seasonal, farm-fresh ingredients. Whether it’s popular choices like romaine hearts, green bamboo shoots, or sweet corn, or rarer varieties seldom seen in markets—such as Green Sprite, Purple Eve, or Angel’s Flame lettuces—they are rotated on the buffet counters according to season and harvest. During afternoon tea, health-focused brewed teas like “Taiwan Mixed Fruit Tea,” “Chrysanthemum & Goji Longan Tea,” and “Burdock & Goji Tea” are also offered. Meal pricing remains at a minimum of 838 TWD + 10% per person for lunch, 588 TWD + 10% for afternoon tea, and 880 TWD + 10% for dinner.

Thirteen. Jioufen Evergreen Laurel Phoenix Gourmet Buffet
Located on the second floor, the Laurel Buffet, designed with Italian raw stones and lighting to create Impressionist-style lines and shimmering effects, presents a stylish yet understated space. It transforms local Yilan delicacies into an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring Chinese, Western, and Japanese cuisines. Fourteen. “Que Restaurant” at Taipei Songshan Evergreen Hotel
Opened in early July 2016, Taipei Songshan Evergreen Hotel’s “Que Restaurant” on the 17th floor not only offers unique log-grilled specialties but also features an all-you-can-eat weekend brunch. With its large floor-to-ceiling windows, guests can enjoy the daytime and nighttime views of the Keelung River while dining. It is currently the highest all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant in Taipei.

Que Restaurant adopts a “Semi Buffet” format, with a starting price of NT$780 for six main dishes plus a 10% service charge. Weekday business lunch prices range from NT$580 to NT$680 + 10% service charge. The weekend all-you-can-eat “brunch” is available from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM, offering dozens of choices such as eggs Benedict, French toast, and vegetable pancakes on the buffet table, priced at NT$780 per person + 10% service charge.
