The "Mountaineering Rescue Volunteer Technical Training" course and teaching materials were evaluated on the 13th at the Shenzhen Mountain Rescue Training Base by an evaluation panel organized by the Chinese Mountaineering Association.
This course and teaching materials will be gradually promoted nationwide and will become China's first standardized set of mountaineering rescue volunteer training courses and materials. It will play a positive role in standardizing the cultivation of China's mountaineering rescue talents and organizations, including the establishment of a national mountaineering rescue system.
Through years of international exchanges, research, and exploration by the Chinese Mountaineering Association, mountaineering rescue work has become a key project in the overall planning of the development of mountaineering and outdoor sports. The Chinese Mountaineering Association will follow the guiding principle of "government-led, local rescue organizations as the main body, and broad social participation" for the entire rescue effort. It will gradually establish a collaborative working mechanism among the government, rescue organizations, and volunteers. Within a certain period, the work approach will focus on "centering on base construction and training, establishing a regional mountaineering rescue system, using rescue drills as the main form, and expanding the exchange and influence of mountaineering rescue," laying a solid foundation for the efficient implementation of mountaineering rescue work.
