Male athletes competing fiercely
The 7th Beijing College Students' Alpine Skiing Competition and National College Students' Skiing Invitational Tournament were held on January 23 at Beijing Yuyang International Ski Resort.
The competition was organized by the Chinese Ski Association, and co-hosted by the Beijing College Students' Sports Association, the Skiing Branch of the Beijing College Students' Sports Association, and Beijing Yuyang International Ski Resort. Over 260 athletes and coaches from 26 universities across Beijing, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, and Inner Mongolia participated. After fierce competition, Wang Mingrui and Zhu Tianhui from Hulunbuir College won the men's and women's overall championships, while Sun Shaoxuan and Zhang Kailun from Tsinghua University claimed the top spots in the Beijing regional men's and women's categories.
This competition is the largest-scale college students' skiing event held in China to date, representing the highest level of amateur skiing among university students in the country. The event will further promote the popularization and development of skiing among college students and play a positive role in advancing the overall skiing skills of Chinese youth.
