His journey home during this winter vacation was as wild as his nickname. On the 26th, dozens of Macau residents pushed their bicycles into China through the Wanzai Port in Zhuhai. According to Mr. Long, the oldest among them, cycling and hiking has become a new trend for leisure and vacation among Macau’s cycling enthusiasts.

At 8:50 a.m. that day, reporters at the Wanzai Port witnessed the spectacular sight of dozens of Macau residents entering en masse with their bicycles. Each was fully equipped with mountain biking gear, including helmets, gloves, windproof goggles, and clip-in shoes.

Due to the large size of bicycles, which can pose a risk of injury to other travelers, police officers at the Wanzai Border Inspection Station specially reserved two wider channels for those bringing bikes into China, ensuring a safe and orderly entry process.

After completing entry procedures, an excited Macau resident, Mr. Chen, told reporters that this was the third consecutive week he had entered via the Wanzai Port to cycle and hike. Initially, there were only three participants, but now the group numbers in the dozens.

Another Macau resident, Mr. Zeng, who entered with a blue bicycle, said that cycling and hiking have become a new choice for many people in Macau. It's not just a weekend activity — friends often invite him to go biking and hiking on regular days as well.

It is reported that the route they cycled this time was up Galin Mountain, located near the Wanzai Port. The summit of Galin Mountain offers a wide panoramic view, where visitors can take in the scenery in all directions, including a distant view of the Macau Peninsula, the Gongbei urban area, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, and the Hengqin New Area.
