Especially for alpine skiing, technological innovation never stops. Board adjustments are made down to the millimeter. If you watch top competitions closely, you’ll see that the moment athletes break through is almost imperceptible to the naked eye—the skill levels are nearly equal. Edge Speed (SPEEDWALL) technology gives skiers a major advantage: extreme edge flexibility and rapid turns. The higher the skier’s level, the more important the edges become. We’ve solved this issue ingeniously by offering Edge Speed (SPEEDWALL) technology through two models: the Saihu snowboards and the CODE Edge Speed boards. The key idea here is not to treat the edges as the lateral boundaries of the board, but as an effective extension of the skiing surface.
For this reason, the edges are made from the same material as the base—meaning the edges can be waxed. The advantage for skiers is clear: lower resistance and faster speeds.
