"Journey Through a Hundred Mountains and Rivers" is another large-scale television interview project by the "Faraway Home" program group of CCTV-4 (China Central Television International Channel), following "Journey Along the Border," "Journey Along the Coast," and "China at 30 Degrees North Latitude." It is now publicly recruiting shooting guides from society.
The hundred-episode special series "Journey Through a Hundred Mountains and Rivers" (Guizhou Section) will travel across Guizhou’s great mountains and rivers, covering content that integrates natural geography, historical culture, local customs, and development changes. The production team is recruiting shooting guides, and selected individuals will join the crew to participate in actual program filming.
I. Types of Guides Being Recruited:
(1) Content Guide
1. Familiar with the geography, history, culture, economy, ethnic groups, religion, and other aspects of a specific prefecture-level city or municipality in Guizhou.
2. Have participated in field investigations related to natural geography, social culture, public welfare, etc., in a specific prefecture-level city or municipality in Guizhou, or have traveled extensively, hiked, or explored in Guizhou.
(2) Outdoor Guide
Possess professional outdoor sports skills and experience, and have climbed, trekked, or rafted through famous mountains and rivers within Guizhou. Able to provide professional outdoor guidance when accompanying the production team into major mountains and rivers for filming.
II. Requirements for Guides Being Recruited:
1. No regional or gender restrictions; generally under 55 years old, in good health. Must be able to adapt physically and timewise to approximately two weeks of relatively intense outdoor interview activities. (Some time will be spent camping outdoors.)
2. Have relatively fluent verbal expression and be able to tell their own stories.
3. Able to provide relevant written, photographic, or video materials demonstrating their knowledge of the relevant fields.

From now until April 1, 2013
IV. Selection Results:
Selected individuals will participate in the filming of CCTV-4's "Faraway Home" and "Journey Through a Hundred Mountains and Rivers," appearing on the TV program. All expenses during the filming period will be covered by the program team.
