The 2013 Beijing MIDI Music Festival at China Music Valley is confirmed to be held grandly from April 29 to May 1 at the China Music Valley Grassland Music Park (Beijing Yuyang International Ski Resort).
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Beijing MIDI Music School, so the annual theme of the MIDI Music Festival has been set as “20 Years of MIDI School,” and the festival will be held on a large scale in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. With strong support from the Pinggu District Party Committee and District Government, the MIDI Music Festival will officially move to China Music Valley during the May Day holiday. The 2013 Beijing MIDI Music Festival at China Music Valley is jointly organized by the Organizing Committee of the 15th Pinggu International Peach Blossom Music Festival and the Beijing MIDI Music School, and is hosted by Beijing MIDI Performance Co., Ltd., Beijing MIDI Art Communication Co., Ltd., and Beijing Yuyang International Ski Resort, with the coordination of relevant departments of the Pinggu District Government. The Beijing Yuyang International Ski Resort is the venue that has previously hosted two editions of the China Music Valley Beijing International Pop Music Festival. Surrounded by green hills and lush grass, it offers an ideal natural setting for hosting a music festival. This year, a record-breaking five stages, 100 Chinese and international rock bands, and tens of thousands of music fans from across the country will join forces with numerous international brands such as VANS, Tiger Beer, Jägermeister, General Aviation, MINI Cooper, Zippo, and Harley-Davidson to kick off the first stop of the 2013 nationwide MIDI Music Festival tour.
During the upcoming preparation period, the Pinggu District Government will work closely with the MIDI Music School to meticulously plan and cooperate fully, striving to provide the best and most convenient transportation services for music fans. Information on performance lineups, transportation, accommodation, camping, and other travel guides for the 2013 Beijing MIDI Music Festival at China Music Valley will be released shortly.
