At this exhibition, Garmin will showcase its full range of marine-specific equipment, including multifunctional navigators, sonar modules, radar, fish finders, autopilots, handheld devices for both land and sea use, marine watches, radios, and transceivers. New products such as the latest series of GPSMAP 8000 navigators, GMR HD digital radar and xHD open array radar, GSD26 new digital sonar module, and the versatile handheld Montana 650 will all be displayed at the China (Shanghai) International Boat Show.
The Latest GPSMAP 8000 Series Navigators:
The GPSMAP 8000 series is Garmin’s newest multifunctional navigator. It features a new glass panel that enhances its aesthetic appeal. The new dual-core processor is 40% faster than the previous generation. It integrates all current Garmin marine functions: sonar, radar, autopilot, communication, data collection, mobile and multimedia applications. All of this can be done with just a touch on the screen, perfectly embodying the “Power of Simple™” concept. The GPSMAP 8000 series supports a multi-touch display, allowing not only quick panning of charts but also pinch-to-zoom functionality. "SmartMode™" enables one-touch setup of other marine instruments into a unified “workstation,” operating under the same functional mode to display the information you need.
The New Generation xHD Open Array Radar:
Garmin’s new generation xHD open array radar delivers powerful output, capturing targets even in harsh sea conditions and displaying high-resolution radar images. It can also show dual-range imagery, making it more suitable for complex navigation environments. The GMR HD digital radar and xHD open array radar offer precise scanning and advanced target detection capabilities, resulting in clearer radar echoes.
GSD26 – The New Digital Sonar Module:
Whether diving or exploring deep waters, the wideband CHIRP technology of the GSD 26 digital sonar provides you with clear underwater imaging. The GSD 26 offers two operating modes: CHIRP mode and traditional mode. You can choose to scan across frequencies from 28kHz to 210kHz, or manually adjust to a specific frequency to detect certain fish species at particular depths. With a maximum transmission power of up to 3000W, it can detect targets at depths of up to 3000 meters.
