Following three successful editions, the 2013 (4th) Asia Outdoor Industry Awards is now accepting entries. Co-organized by Nanjing Ningfei International Exhibition Co., Ltd., the organizer of the Asia Outdoor Show, and the Jiangsu Industrial Design Society, with special support from Messe Friedrichshafen GmbH, the organizer of the European Outdoor Show. Whether or not you are an exhibitor at the 2013 Asia Outdoor Show, your work is eligible for entry.
Special Addition: “China Original Design Award”
As the Asian outdoor market matures, creative Chinese outdoor brands also need a platform to showcase themselves. It is understood that this year’s Asia Outdoor Industry Awards feature a more balanced award structure. In order to encourage original design among outdoor brands and promote the vigorous development of the Chinese outdoor market, in addition to the “Gold Award, Silver Award, Eco Award, and Women’s Product Award,” the new “China Original Design Award” has been specially added this year.
The “China Original Design Award” aims to draw attention within the outdoor industry to original outdoor design, drive the development of the outdoor sector, encourage growth among Chinese outdoor brand designers, elevate China’s outdoor design standards, and provide better and more innovative outdoor products for both domestic and international markets. Past Gold Award winners include LIVSO’s inflatable canoe “Fish-Dragon Transformation” and Fire-Maple’s FMS-300T “Wasp” micro gas stove. Judging by previous winning entries, the design quality has improved significantly, with increasingly skillful use of new materials and techniques in outdoor gear, and more newcomers incorporating innovative design elements — another reason for introducing the “China Original Design Award” this year.

Zero Barriers to Entry Abundant Prizes for Winners
Whether you are a brand owner, ODM, designer, or importer, as long as your entry meets criteria such as innovation, high quality, and reflection of industry trends, and was launched within the past two years (as of July 24, 2013) or launched more than two years ago but improved within the last two years, you may enter the 2013 (4th) Asia Outdoor Industry Awards. Compete for the Gold Award, Silver Award, Eco Award, Women’s Product Award, and China Original Design Award. There is no limit to the number of entries per participant or company.
A dedicated exhibition area will be set up at the 2013 (4th) Asia Outdoor Show to showcase all winning works free of charge. Winning entries will be promoted through multiple channels, including “press releases from the show, promotional videos of the Asia Outdoor Show, featured coverage in partner magazines and online media, and the Asia Outdoor Show website.” All winners will be invited to attend the awards ceremony on the afternoon of the first day of the show and will receive an official “2013 Asia Outdoor Industry Awards” certificate. Additionally, winners will be granted the right to use the 2013 Asia Outdoor Industry Awards logo in their advertising and marketing activities.

Launched with great fanfare at the 2010 Asia Outdoor Show, the Asia Outdoor Industry Awards has gradually become a highlight over the past three years. Winning an Asia Outdoor Industry Award serves as a significant boost to success, whether for brands or individuals. The success of the Awards is inseparable from its rigorous judging panel. The 2013 (4th) Asia Outdoor Industry Awards judging panel will consist of two renowned design experts from the Jiangsu Industrial Design Society and six outdoor industry professionals, ensuring fair and impartial evaluation.
