RALLY NIPPON to Return to Taiwan: 70 Japanese Classic Cars to Tour the Island in November

In 2013, Japan’sRALLY NIPPONheld a four-day, three-night island-wide rally in Taiwan as a gesture of gratitude for Taiwan’s support following the 311 Great East Japan Earthquake. Moved by the warm response from the Taiwanese people, they have decided to hold “RALLY NIPPON in TAIWAN 2016” this November, with the theme “Bond X Companion,” expressing the hope that the deep friendship between Japan and Taiwan will last forever.

“RALLY NIPPON in TAIWAN 2016” marks the 8th edition of the event and is the second time it is being held in Taiwan. The island-wide rally will take place from November 10 to 13, gathering 70 Japanese classic cars in Taiwan. Following an island-wide route, the event aims to showcase Taiwan’s cultural heritage, historical landmarks, and natural beauty to the world.

In addition to the island-wide rally, RALLY NIPPON will also host the “RALLY NIPPON Classic Car Exhibition” at Huashan 1914 Creative Park in Taipei from October 29 to November 6. Around 30 classic cars from Japan will be on display, giving classic car enthusiasts a sneak peek before the rally begins.
