After operating ice cream shops, sweet-and-savory dessert stores, and hybrid restaurants, 8%ICE has officially entered the breakfast market. 8％ICE CAFE, located at Pacific SOGO Zhongxiao Branch, officially opened on September 8th. The new café centers around brunch and afternoon tea, with the popular “Classic Eggs Benedict” and afternoon tea’s star item, “Seasonal Fruit French Toast.”

The light meals series includes paninis and sandwiches with various flavors and fillings. Each season, limited-edition chef’s seasonal sandwiches are introduced, inspired by seasonal ingredients and the chef’s creativity. This season’s debut is the now-trendy Boston Lobster Sandwich, featuring half a whole lobster meat hand-shelled and prepared from the day’s fresh catch, stuffed into the sandwich. Originally priced at NT$599, the opening special price is NT$299, available daily in limited quantities of 10 servings starting at 14:00.

In addition to all-day new brunch and afternoon tea offerings, there are also various 8％ICE ice creams and freshly baked bread daily. For desserts, 8％ICE CAFE has launched new items for its opening, including the “Classic Berry Tart” and “Qingyun Matcha Raw Chocolate Tart.”

As for coffee, in addition to single-origin beans selected from seven countries, there’s also the brand’s signature blend “Sunlight Journey,” crafted from beans sourced from four growing regions, roasted in-house to produce light, medium, and dark roast profiles. 8％ICE CAFE’s coffee is mainly divided into three categories: pour-over, cold drip, and espresso. The seven single-origin coffees are primarily presented via pour-over to highlight clean and bright flavors, while the Sunlight Journey blend is mainly used for espresso and cold drip coffee.
