This year’s Exchange Competition is organized by the Peking University Cycling Association, co-organized by the Kangling Village Committee and the Yuanren Tribe Forum, and enjoys strong support from two sponsors: UCC Global Bicycle Company and ACANU, a new e-commerce brand under China's leading outdoor brand, Toread.
The Exchange Competition is a traditional large-scale cycling event hosted by the Peking University Cycling Association. Since successfully organizing the Badaling–Peking University Cycling Rally on April 26, 1998, the association has continuously explored development models for inter-university cycling competitions and has hosted several foundational events that have played a significant role in the field of university cycling in China. In recent years, it has held the largest university cycling exchange competition in the country annually. This year’s event has expanded even further in scale. Participating universities include Peking University, Tsinghua University, China University of Petroleum, Central University of Finance and Economics, Xi'an Jiaotong University, and more than 50 others, with over 400 participants. Including the over 100-member support group of family and friends, the total number exceeds 500. To manage such a large-scale event, the Peking University Cycling Association has deployed a team of over 60 staff members throughout the competition to ensure smooth, safe, and well-organized proceedings.
On the 29th, the competition’s chief judge will lead participants from various universities on a ride from Peking University to the athletes’ accommodation area. It is expected that the cycling group of up to 500 people will form a spectacular sight in Beijing. On the evening of the 28th, an exchange party will be held around the accommodation area, where each club will showcase their unique features and share experiences and stories. Exciting game segments will offer cyclists surprise prizes provided by UCC Global Bicycle Company and ACANU Outdoor Co., Ltd.
On the 30th, the official races will take place, featuring men’s open race, men’s elite race, women’s open race, and team race. During the competition, the Peking University Cycling Association will arrange medical personnel at designated points to promptly address any health issues of the participants.
After more than 40 days of thorough preparation, all aspects such as competition supplies, track maintenance, and venue arrangements have been well-prepared. We wish this competition a complete success and smooth execution.
