The 2013 Beijing International Tourism Expo (referred to as the "Beijing Travel Expo") will be held from June 21-23 at the China National Convention Center.
The exhibition areas for this year’s event are divided into: domestic government tourism bureaus and tourist destinations, international tourism bureaus and destinations, domestic travel agency special sales area, and to further enrich the content of the expo, a special tourism commodities exhibition area has been added in the underground hall of the venue. The expo has also actively introduced new formats in the tourism industry, adding a caravan and camping convention, and has set up both indoor and outdoor caravan and camping zones. Since the launch of the Beijing Travel Expo exhibition recruitment, local government tourism bureaus, tourism enterprises, and related industries have given strong support and recognition, and have signed up to participate enthusiastically. As of press time, more than half of the exhibition spaces have been booked.
Several domestic provincial and municipal tourism bureaus and regions have confirmed their participation. Major well-known domestic travel agencies such as Ctrip, China Travel Service, CYTS, China Women’s Travel Service, Haitao Travel, CITIC Travel, UTour, China Comfort Travel, and Jetour will once again join the Beijing Travel Expo, bringing the public a diverse range of high-value, discounted travel products. Recruitment for tourism-related industries including airlines, financial institutions, and tourism and commercial real estate is also in full swing, with Citibank having already confirmed its participation, and tourism and commercial real estate companies such as Guomenhui also expressing interest. Caravan and camping companies such as E-Way, Shanye Te, Dream Tour, Desheng Tongda, Disheng, Jiafunya, Dalian Hehe, Dutch KIP, Farad, Yizete, Tiantan Caravan, Zhongjin Bolang, and Fuji Camping, among other caravan brands, will bring the public an exciting caravan lifestyle experience. Recreational vehicle and ATV companies such as Reer, Xibehu, Chunfeng, and Bombardier have also confirmed their participation in the caravan and camping convention.
On the international front, more than 40 countries and regions have confirmed their participation, including the United States, Switzerland, Turkey, Seychelles, South Pacific island nations, Maldives, Thailand, India, Malaysia, and others. Many of the participating countries will attend as delegations, with members including tourism bureaus, airlines, and travel agencies, all set to offer the public a fascinating display of exotic cultures.
In 2013, the Beijing Travel Expo celebrates its 10th anniversary.
