Hemeili 3D Painting Village Is a Hotspot for Check-ins: An Ocean Stroll Map Helps You Find the Sperm Whale

Located in Chiayi, Hemeili blends art with fishing village culture to create unique ocean-themed 3D painted murals, making it a new hot spot for tourists to take photos and check in. To help the public immerse themselves in the 3D ocean world, the official fan page of the Yunlin-Kaohsiung-Tainan Coastal National Scenic Area has created an Ocean World Stroll Map for visitors' reference.

The Hemeili Ocean World Outdoor Art Gallery features a series of 3D painted works. Among them, the cute and vivid marine creatures, enhanced by 3D effects, seem ready to leap off the ground. These lifelike murals allow people to stand on them and strike various poses to take fun optical illusion photos, delighting visitors of all ages.

There are as many as 18 3D artworks on-site, including one touted as the largest 3D floor painting in Taiwan. The entire Hemeili village is immersed in a dreamy aquatic blue ocean fantasy, adding a cool and pleasant vibe to the hot summer. The official “3D Ocean World Stroll Map” helps visitors easily locate massive sperm whales, agile squid kings, and gaping sharks, allowing them to fully experience the unique charm of the local fishing village.
