From July 9 to 13, the 2014 Spring/Summer Order Fair of Polaris (Shehe) will take place at the Yihao Hotel in Jiangmen, Guangdong Province. Dealers from across the country are invited to attend, where a full range of new outdoor products—including apparel, backpacks, tents, sleeping bags, footwear, and other functional accessories—will be displayed and introduced in a large multifunctional exhibition hall, along with an explanation of the 2014 new product promotion strategy. Themed “Himalaya,” this season’s order fair will unveil Polaris’s latest color concepts, design philosophies, and fabric applications for the spring/summer of 2014.

The 2014 Spring/Summer new collection from Polaris will bring the colors and cultural elements of the “homeland of snow”—the Himalaya. As the world’s most majestic mountain range, the pure and vast peaks of the Himalaya attract countless pilgrims; its pristine religious worship culture gives the region an air of Eastern mystique. With longing and a spirit of exploration for the Himalaya, Polaris’s design team delved into the culture, folklore, and mountaineering traditions of the Himalayan region—from Nepal to Tibet, from the paradise of trekkers to the sacred realm of the lotus. Through the lens of travelers and their personal insights into travel culture, they gathered thematic design materials and inspiration, which were then translated into every pattern, motif, and cut in the new collection.
