Typhoon Meranti is approaching strongly!

Typhoon Meranti continues to intensify. At 17:30 on the afternoon of the 13th, its center was located in the sea east-southeast of Hengchun, moving northwest-west then northwest. Its storm circle has entered the Bashi Channel and the southeastern sea area of Taiwan. Airlines have successively announced flight adjustments and remind passengers to confirm their flight information before heading out.

Flight changes for September 14:
1. International and cross-strait routes:
GE361/362 Kaohsiung-Macau round-trip flights canceled;
GE365 Kaohsiung-Macau and GE366 Macau-Taichung flights both depart 2.5 hours earlier;
GE3862/3861 Taichung-Nanning round-trip flights depart 6 hours earlier.
2. Domestic routes:
Except for the Songshan-Hualien flight which remains normal, all other domestic flights are suspended for the day.
