Preliminary Selection Site
The "Search for Pathfinders Around Us" campaign has been held for three editions since 2011. This year’s theme, "Have Braved, Have Lived," focuses on finding ordinary people who have bravely lived out their ideals. This edition differs significantly from the previous two in terms of competition format, participant selection, and scale. In addition to emphasizing physical fitness and outdoor experience, this year’s selection of volunteers also places greater importance on finding those with brave hearts. It aims to inspire more people to forge their own life paths through the participants’ past experiences and their unwavering spirit in chasing dreams.
The online qualifiers for the fourth stop, the Sacred Land – Kawagarbo, have already begun on the Pathfinder official website. Sign up now for a chance to join Li Shuankuo, a research pioneer, cultural observer, and editor-in-chief of Chinese National Geography who has ventured deep into the North and South Poles four times, as you explore the sacred land of Kawagarbo. Experience the world’s most beautiful snow mountains, visit indigenous villages to discover endangered cultures, and enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and mountaineering along the way.
