Located at the Dadi Hotel in Beitou, which not only boasts a romantic man-made Snow View Hot Spring, but also features Qiyanyihao Restaurant, known for its modern take on Sichuan and Hunan cuisine. It has become a favorite among foodies, with many making special trips for the signature dish “Chopped Pepper Fish Head.” Authentic Sichuan and Hunan flavors can now be enjoyed right here in Taipei.
To allow more people to experience the deliciousness of modern Sichuan and Hunan cuisine, Executive Chef Li Zhaoming, with 30 years of experience, and Chef Cai Zhenrong, also known as Chef Rong, have joined forces to create the flagship “Qiyanyihao” restaurant. It is located on the second floor of Taipei Marriott Hotel Zhongcheng Plaza, ensuring that Taipei’s food lovers can enjoy these flavors whenever they wish.

The “Tianfu Spicy Duck Hotpot” is an exclusive new dish available only at the flagship location. This hotpot incorporates the flavors of Malatang (spicy skewered food hotpot) with duck as the star ingredient. It uses 28-day aged Yilan Sanxing Cherry Duck, marinated with a variety of Chinese medicinal herbs and spices, then steamed and roasted to achieve a tender and juicy texture. The spicy broth is rich and layered, offering a perfect balance of numbness, heat, umami, and aroma—fully capturing the essence of Sichuan and Hunan cuisine. The restaurant began its soft opening in mid-August, and diners can enjoy a 10% discount on meals before the end of September.
