From October 17 to 19, 2013, the 7th China International Horse & Equestrian Show (CHF 2013), jointly organized by Shanghai Hobbs Tarsus Exhibition Co., Ltd. and the UK-based Tarsus Group, will be held again at the China International Exhibition Center (New Venue) in Beijing. Since the start of preparations for this year’s event, booth and sponsorship opportunities have been selling briskly, with around 70% of on-site exhibition spaces already snapped up by domestic and international companies. Exclusive sponsorship opportunities such as back cover ads in the event catalogue, badge lanyards, and tote bags have also been reserved early by overseas businesses.
Not long ago, through an online vote by credible industry professionals, the 2013 China Equestrian Online Style Awards “Silver Saddle” — initiated by China Equestrian Network — awarded CHF the title of “Most Influential Equestrian Event of the Year (Non-Competitive).” This accolade not only demonstrates CHF’s high level of market recognition but also shows that CHF has become a trusted exhibition brand within China’s horse industry, earning strong affirmation from industry insiders.
LU MARK Company registered to participate in CHF for the first time this year. After selecting their booth, company representative Mark Lu said: “Our decision to participate in CHF 2013 was made after careful consideration and comprehensive market research. Friends in my industry all say that the China International Horse & Equestrian Show is the most professional horse show in China. Later, I gathered a lot of information about this event online, and after my own research, I felt the feedback was quite objective, so I signed up to participate. I’m really looking forward to this year’s show.”
CHHT (China-Holland Horse Industry Marketing) participated in CHF for the first time last year. Due to the positive results of that exhibition, they reserved a booth for CHF 2013 very early this year. Ms. Debbie Xu, General Manager of CHHT, said in an interview: “We chose to participate in the China International Horse & Equestrian Show again because it is a long-established horse show in China. This year at CHF 2013, we will focus on promoting our equestrian school, horse training courses, horse selection services, and after-sales horse services.”
General Manager Debbie Xu also said: “Over the years, this exhibition has become a highly anticipated annual industry event held every autumn in Beijing. Moreover, Beijing is the most developed region for equestrian and horse industry growth in China. By exhibiting here, we can not only meet many riders, equestrian enthusiasts, and horse lovers, but also engage in business discussions with capable companies interested in horse breeding and eager to exchange knowledge with foreign training experts and stable management professionals.”
In Ms. Debbie Xu’s view: “China is importing more and more horses and opening more and more stables, but there is a shortage of technical personnel. China should currently focus on aspects such as stable management, groom training, forage cultivation, and improving rider skills. We need to interact more with professional foreign horse keepers or foreign trainers to learn advanced knowledge and techniques. The China International Horse & Equestrian Show has done an excellent job of building an international exchange platform for the development of China’s horse industry. Each year, numerous foreign experts participate in the show. This is one of the key reasons why we hold this event in such high regard.”
Since its inception in 2007, the China International Horse & Equestrian Show (CHF) has successfully provided high-quality exhibitor services to nearly 300 companies from 27 countries and regions, including China, Hong Kong (China), Macau (China), Taiwan (China), Japan, Russia, Egypt, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, Argentina, Hungary, Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Ukraine, Denmark, and Sweden.
This year, confirmed exhibitors mainly come from China, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, Belgium, and Australia. Many suppliers from Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and France have expressed strong interest in participating as part of group delegations. As the preparations for the show progress, it is expected that more well-known suppliers from leading global horse industry nations will join this year’s event.
