Taoyuan Hutou Mountain Park Aol Forest Academy

Taoyuan Hutou Mountain Park is a great leisure spot for locals. In recent years, the Aol Forest Academy has been developed here, including the Owl Forest Trail and more. Within the academy, there are three treehouses: the hexagonal "Tree-Reading Classroom," the owl-shaped "Coo House," and the boat-shaped "Green Ark." These charming wooden treehouses, with their dreamy appearance, feel like stepping into a fairy tale world and have become a highly popular photo spot. Hutou Mountain Park is lush with greenery and diverse tree species, immersing visitors in phytoncides. In May each year, when the tung flowers bloom, you can also see the ground covered in blossoms.*

Qingxin Treehouse in Liking Community, an old military dependents' village in Hsinchu City

Did you know there’s also a hidden little treehouse in Hsinchu, tucked away in the old military dependents' village "Liking Community"? Deng Qingxin, who came from Taipei, happened to pass by this area last year and discovered an over 80-year-old chinaberry tree. With the consent of the community elders, she began planning and, using her own hands, created *Chin Chin’s DayDreaming* (Qingxin Treehouse), which has since become a secret gem for many. The small treehouse isn’t very large, accommodating about two to three girls, making it perfect to bring your best friends for heart-to-heart chats and enjoy some quality girl time.*

The treehouse also features some of Deng Qingxin’s favorite books and cute decorations, as well as a treehouse journal where visitors can converse with the treehouse and others through writing. This year, Deng Qingxin renovated the nearby ruins to open the *Flying Treehouse Café*, which features a casual retro style built with reclaimed wood and old newspapers, becoming another local hipster spot. Next time you visit the little treehouse, be sure to stop by the café for coffee and soak in the charming retro vibe of the old military dependents' village.*
