According to the generally accepted view, in any market, power (which can also be referred to as customers, profits, etc.) mainly comes from three aspects, and accordingly, there are mainly three types of approaches.

       1. The general public. People usually refer to them as individual travelers. That is, after creating a travel route, it is promoted on websites (the extreme case being posting flyers on the street) and sold to individuals one by one. Because the “effort” involved is relatively high, the price is correspondingly higher. The downside is that there are many one-off deals and quite a lot of complaints.

       2. Enterprises. Nowadays, employees face high pressure and suffer from many occupational diseases, and enterprises are paying more attention to employee health. At the same time, to enhance team cohesion, various team-building activities are also increasing. Compared to individual travelers, enterprise clients offer higher overall profits, though the profit per person is slightly lower. Working with enterprise clients requires credibility and a guarantee of safety. Once a relationship is established, it tends to last longer.

       3. Government. Reliable sources indicate that the government is now strictly controlling official banquets and publicly funded travel, but encourages government employees to participate in various sports activities. This is great news! Once you get involved, it’s like tapping into “government procurement”...

       Of course, there is also a type of activity that is for public welfare. This level is very difficult to reach. For example, current activities organized by Lvye are sponsored by Red Bull, and AA activities that include Red Bull can be said to be entirely public welfare-oriented. I must pay my highest respects to the related trip leaders.

       However, in commercial outdoor activities, it seems that everyone is still competing at the level of attracting the general public. The profit comes from transportation fees, and the competition is over who has more “friends” on Lvye or QQ. As for price and service, there is still a considerable gap compared to the travel agencies that everyone looks down upon. What will the long-term result be?
