Living person floats in midair sipping coffee and waving—onlookers amazed: “His feet are dangling!”

When strolling along streets abroad, street performers often become a major highlight. On the official opening day of The Parisian Macao on September 14, the hotel arranged a variety of dynamic and static street performances, among which three performers were even “floating” in midair, leaving audiences astonished: How is this done!?

These performers either coat themselves in gold powder or dress up in suits with props to enhance their acts. One stone sculptor, while hammering away at a statue with one hand, waves to the audience with the other—all while his body spins and his feet hover unsupported in midair. When onlookers question, “Is he real or fake?”, the sculptor pulls a funny face, as if to say, “I’m real, I tell you!”

Another performer, casually perched with legs crossed at a bar counter, leisurely reads and sips coffee while also floating in the air. Onlookers exclaim, “There’s nothing beneath him—he’s just floating!” Nearby, a blues-style performer also levitates in the air while playing the cello, with nothing under his feet, and even uses one hand to interact with the crowd. Many spectators, amazed by these unusual acts, rush forward to take photos with the performers.

On streets abroad, such “floating” performances in various poses are commonly seen. In reality, these performers use hidden mechanical frames beneath loose clothing to connect their bodies with props, enabling them to defy gravity. This ingenious trick not only earns them tips but also brings plenty of laughter and joy to the streets.
