Recently, reporters learned from the county forestry bureau that four hiking trails in Jinjian Mountain Park have been paved with stone slabs, making it more convenient and safer for citizens to hike, exercise, and engage in leisure activities.
It is reported that there are a total of seven hiking trails in Jinjian Mountain Park, most of which are dirt paths. Since December last year, our county has invested 2.1 million yuan to pave stone slabs on four trails: Niujiaowan–Shuangshan, Yanshangou–Qinggang Yangliu Village, Mopanqiu–Tangfang, and Shizi Party School–Shangyang.
“After six months of work, we have finally completed nearly eight kilometers of four hiking trails and parts of the mountain loop road. Each step of the trails is about 15–17 centimeters high and 23–25 centimeters wide, perfectly suitable for citizens’ fitness activities,” a relevant official from the county forestry bureau told reporters.
It is reported that paving these four trails with stone slabs not only improves the inconvenience of hiking on rainy days in the past but also connects the scenic views along the mountain, further enhancing the tourism and leisure infrastructure of Jinjian Mountain.
“We paved the trails according to the original landform structure of the mountain, without damaging any vegetation at all. Next, we will also install facilities such as direction signs and trash bins on each trail,” the official explained.
