Recently, reporters received an official statement from MaFengWo Travel Network stating that on August 16, Nandu Net reposted seven articles from MaFengWo’s “Travelers’ Column” in its travel channel without formal authorization, constituting a copyright infringement, which drew a protest from MaFengWo.
MaFengWo stated that since the Travelers’ Column is its original content, the published articles are authorized by the authors for official use by MaFengWo. Unauthorized reposting constitutes an infringement. MaFengWo calls on media outlets and related platforms to respect and value the copyrights of online articles and resolutely eliminate irregular online reposting practices.
