The "8-Hour Challenge" charity hiking and trail running event advocates using public welfare as a means and the power of walking to help rural children read and grow up happily.
As the official race on September 28 draws near, participants in the "8-Hour Challenge" have entered an intense period of preparation. To help them better adapt to the competition, on August 24, the "8-Hour Challenge" organizing committee prepared the second phase of the scientific training run warm-up activity at Olympic Forest Park.
The early morning at Olympic Forest Park attracted many running enthusiasts for exercise, and of course, the participants of the "8-Hour Challenge" charity hiking and trail running event were no exception. This time, we invited professional running coach Coach A Liang to guide the participants. The coach not only led everyone through warm-up activities and stretching exercises but also taught many daily training methods. Participants actively joined the discussions, creating a lively atmosphere. Although many were running a 10-kilometer session for the first time, they all safely and successfully completed the task. We were also moved by their spirit of courage and perseverance. After the training, Meng Guangping, the individual champion of the previous edition of the "8-Hour Challenge," shared his fundraising experience. The relaxed and joyful atmosphere of the sharing session also attracted many onlookers, many of whom expressed support for the event and willingness to participate, voluntarily becoming ambassadors for the "8-Hour Challenge."
To provide better event services for participants, the "8-Hour Challenge" organizing committee will also organize the third phase of the scientific training run warm-up activity, covering a distance of 15.6 kilometers, at Olympic Forest Park on September 7.
