From October 10 to 13, the world’s top bicycle brand Specialized (also known as "Lightning") will once again participate in the 2013 Asia Bike Show. In addition to showcasing new products, there will also be exciting activities such as celebrity visits and live demonstrations.
Founded in 1974 by dedicated cyclist Mike Sinyard, the American bicycle brand Specialized, affectionately called "Lightning" by domestic riders, has been committed for nearly four decades to providing cyclists with the most professional bike products and services. "I Am Specialized" is the brand’s unique cycling spirit.
On October 10, the 2013 Asia Bike Show grandly opened. At 1:30 pm on October 11, Specialized invited celebrities to visit its booth B4300. The visiting celebrities included all-around rider Hu Hao, endurance rider Wei Kui who competes in both mountain and road cycling events such as the Tour of Qinghai Lake International Road Cycling Race, and three riders from Taiwan: “Mountain Bike Sweetheart” Zhang Wanlin, “Queen of Downhill” Zhou Peini, and “XC Sweetheart” Cai Jiling. Each of the three female riders has her own specialty—no matter the angle from which the race is photographed, Zhang Wanlin always wears a smile. With eight years of riding experience, she is a two-time champion in both XC and road racing; Zhou Peini has dominated women’s downhill racing in Taiwan for over a decade and competes in both DH and XC; while Cai Jiling is passionate about outdoor adventure sports, has eight years of riding experience, and competes in both XC and road racing.
Additionally, during the four-day exhibition, Specialized’s booth will also host live demonstration activities: two ergonomic measurement and adjustment demonstrations each day (at 10:30 am and 2:00 pm), and two bicycle tuning system demonstrations each day (at 11:15 am and 3:00 pm). Audiences are in for a real treat at these sessions.
