From October 10 to 13, 2013, the 3rd Asia Bike Show will be held at the Nanjing International Expo Center. In addition, an Experience Day (Demo Day) will take place on October 9 at the Zhongshan Mausoleum Sports Park in the eastern suburbs of Nanjing.

The first two days are for professional visitors. Professional attendees can register online via the official website and save 40 yuan on the on-site registration fee after successful registration. The last two days (October 12 and 13) are public days, during which the public can purchase tickets to enter. The ticket price is 20 yuan.

As the sister show of the world’s largest bike exhibition—Eurobike—in the Asian region, the Asia Bike Show is the premier professional event in China dedicated to sports and premium bicycles. This year, the Asia Bike Show has taken a major step forward, covering an indoor exhibition area of 26,000 square meters and an outdoor area of 10,000 square meters. The number of exhibitors has increased by 65.5% compared to last year. Currently, 394 high-end bicycle, cycling apparel, and accessory brands have confirmed their participation, making it the leading professional exhibition for sports and premium bicycles in China. The internationalization level of this year’s show has risen again, with 317 international brands participating, accounting for 80.5% of the total exhibitors. Brands such as BMC, BH, Bianchi, Bergamont, Cervelo, Colnago, Cannondale, Continental, GT, Corratec, Cube, Deuter, Haibike, Ghost, Pinarello, Shimano, Specialized, Scott, Tern, Vaude, and X-Bionic will all showcase their latest products and technologies.

Mr. Jaeger, consultant of the Asia Bike Show, stated that this year marks the first time the Asia Bike Show and the Asia Outdoor Show are held separately. October is the best time for bicycle brands to launch their 2014 models, and visitors can see the 2014 versions of new bikes as early as early October, setting the Asia Bike Show apart from any other exhibition in China. With this schedule adjustment, the Asia Bike Show is better positioned to promote the development of the domestic bicycle industry and has become a truly trade-oriented professional exhibition in China’s sports bicycle market. Organizers expect this year’s bike show to attract 12,000 professional visitors.

The Experience Day (Demo Day) is launched for the first time—autumn is the perfect season for cycling. On October 9, a special Experience Day will be held at the Zhongshan Mausoleum Sports Park in the eastern suburbs of Nanjing, featuring mountain bike and road bike routes for professional visitors and media to test ride the 2014 new models. The test ride activities during the Experience Day serve as a valuable complement to the static product displays. The combination of dynamic and static experiences highlights the unique appeal of the products and fosters deeper interaction among exhibitors, visitors, and the media.

On-site supporting activities: In addition to brand and product displays, a series of rich supporting activities will offer visitors a more in-depth and engaging experience. Test Zone—dedicated riding lanes for mountain bikes, road bikes, and E-BIKES for test rides. The Test Zone is located outside the exhibition hall plaza and is divided into two separate areas: one simulates natural terrain with various curves and slopes for mountain bike test rides, and the other features flat roads for road bikes and E-BIKE test rides. In-Show Exhibition—a highlight among the many supporting activities of the annual Asia Bike Show, showcasing the most luxurious, high-end, and innovative bicycles in both domestic and international markets. Luxury bicycles worth tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands are the focus of attention for visitors and the media. The 2014 latest models, internationally awarded exhibition bikes, and even world champion or Tour de France race bikes will be displayed here. Miss Asia Bike Contest—promoting the concept of a “low-carbon, environmentally friendly” lifestyle, selecting vibrant, youthful, and fashionable Miss Asia Bike ambassadors to represent the cycling movement and advocate for “green travel.” Asia Bike Show Fashion Show—dynamically showcasing cycling apparel from various brands. Numerous international and domestic cycling apparel brands will deliver visual feasts. Business Matching Area—the Asia Bike Show provides free business matchmaking services, connecting international brands with domestic agents. Lectures and Industry Forums—targeted seminars for professional visitors and cycling enthusiasts, covering topics such as rider training, shop management, and the transformation of traditional shops into sports bike stores. Fixed Gear Polo Activity—a creative fusion of the trendy elements of fixed gear biking and the deep-rooted heritage of polo, blending retro and popular sports to create unparalleled excitement.

In October, Nanjing offers crisp autumn air, a blend of activity and relaxation, and a wealth of exciting experiences. The 2013 Asia Bike Show is definitely worth looking forward to. Let’s meet again at the Nanjing International Expo Center from October 10 to 13.
