This is our KAILAS Pinpoint Mountaineering Ice Axe (KE311032). This “PINPOINT” series ice axe is an outstanding classic long ice axe for mountaineering. The shaft is made from high-strength 7050-T651 aerospace aluminum, with a surface treated by anodizing and coarse sandblasting. The connection between the axe head, spike, and tube body uses a special manufacturing process that can withstand up to 10KN of tensile force, far exceeding CE requirements (which stipulate 2KN), providing enhanced safety protection. Suitable for snow mountain climbing, alpine skiing, high-altitude expeditions, glacier travel, and more.
