Suspected Bigfoot: American hiker captures ape-like figure in the woods.
According to a report by the U.S. Huffington Post on October 3, a hiker from Pennsylvania, USA, spotted and photographed two Bigfoot-like creatures hiding in the woods while driving through Kings Gap State Park two weeks ago. The photos clearly captured a giant, ape-like animal.
The 57-year-old Stoneham explained that he had previously been skeptical about the existence of Bigfoot, but the creature he photographed two weeks ago was not the common black bear found in the area. It had broad shoulders, was covered in fur, had a wider top and narrower bottom body shape, and was much larger than a black bear. These photos have not yet been verified, but Stoneham said he had never seen such an animal before.
"It's much easier to see a Bigfoot on the East Coast of the United States than people think," said Stevens, a Ph.D. student at Pennsylvania State University. He released an East Coast Bigfoot distribution map last month showing that many areas on the densely populated and heavily forested U.S. East Coast, including rural Pennsylvania, are habitats for Bigfoot.
