The Ultimate Sacred Journey Team
It is understood that the elementary school in Deqen County, which the team plans to visit during this polar journey, is located so far from home and the roads are so rough that the children have to board at school and can only see their parents after long intervals. Upon learning of this situation, the volunteers will visit the school to collect the children’s wishes through videos, photos, letters, and other means, and then deliver these wishes to their parents dozens of miles away, allowing the parents to understand their children’s learning and living conditions. The volunteers aim to build a bridge of communication between the children and their parents, conveying the children’s love and longing. It is hoped that this approach will help the children focus on their studies and encourage them to realize their dreams.
The "Finding Explorers Around Us" campaign, hosted by the Explorers, has been held for three consecutive years since 2011. The theme of this year’s edition is "Only by being brave can you truly live," with the core mission of finding ordinary people who have bravely lived out their ideals in pursuit of their dreams. This year, in addition to focusing on the physical fitness and outdoor experience of volunteers, greater emphasis has been placed on seeking those with courageous hearts. The hope is that their past experiences and unwavering spirit in the pursuit of their dreams will inspire more people to forge their own life paths.
The fifth stop, the Land of Ultimate Joy, as the final leg of this year’s campaign, will be led by China’s rock music leader and Explorers brand ambassador Wang Feng. He will guide two volunteers to Dali, Yunnan—the birthplace of China’s original music. Starting today, by uploading a photo of bravery and sharing a personal message on the official Explorers website, or by attending the urban selection events in late October, you may have the chance to join mentor Wang Feng in Dali, Yunnan, to explore the spirit of original music and meet musicians who courageously pursue their dreams.
