On December 28, the event “Taibai Summit Showdown · Cosplay Winter Carnival,” jointly organized by the Shaanxi Taibai Mountain Tourism Area Management Committee and Shaanxi Taibai Mountain Investment Group Co., Ltd., will grandly commence at the Shaanxi Taibai Mountain Scenic Area. The goal is to infuse the cold winter of Taibai Mountain with the youthful, fashionable, and passionate anime spirit of cosplay, ignite the area’s winter tourism offerings, and present visitors with a rich and colorful winter travel experience.
This event will recruit uniquely styled cosplayers through online channels and cosplay clubs. During the event, cosplayers will participate in live fashion shows, skiing competitions, hot spring soaking & post-bath cute photo contests, and creative cosplay-and-snow-sculpture photo sessions. Winners will receive mystery prizes. It is reported that the Taibai Mountain Ski Resort covers a total area of 2,800 square meters. The resort features one beginner-to-intermediate ski slope that is 600 meters long, six snow tubing lanes, a 500-square-meter snow play area, one tow rope, and two magic carpets. It is the first ski resort in Shaanxi Province to feature magic carpets, and currently boasts the widest ski runs, largest area, and longest natural snow season in the province.
