Dreamscapes ―― The Photo Diary of the Goer Outdoor Dreams Team

    Everyone is a dreamer, dreaming of being in a dark forest at times, with the murmuring stream never ceasing, then turning around to find vast grasslands where the wind blows the grass low to reveal grazing sheep and cattle; dreaming of walking from springtime flower seas to wintry ice rivers, letting the seasons cycle and faces age without ever wanting to wake up.

    But back in reality, during the pursuit of dreams, it is only in the midst of beautiful natural surroundings that one can truly feel that the dreamscapes are within reach, yet fleeting. Whenever sorting through photos, those frozen moments may not retain the warmth or touch of that instant, but they leave behind eternal memories in the heart.

    In 2013, the sixth “Endless Experience ―― Gore-Tex!” Outdoor Dreams Realization event saw all six participating teams successfully complete their journeys and fulfill their dreams. Throughout the expeditions, every team, every story, every shot, and every reflection was filled with the challenges, joys, and excitement of realizing a dream. A total of 5,065 photos were taken during the event, with the outdoor photography group alone capturing 2,721 images—over half of the total. Each stunning frozen moment strikes the viewer’s vision, as if leading people to experience this dream journey together.

 

 

On the way to Muro Village, passing through a primeval forest full of greenery and teeming with life, the stunning views make the team members linger and reluctant to leave.

 

Between towering cliffs and green mountain lodges, the Nujiang River roars wildly. The team members, enchanted by the scene, can't help but play the harmonica.

 

Under the magnificent starry sky, the team pitches colorful tents and joyfully engages in light painting.

 

 

 

Surrounded by lush greenery, the team stands ready to depart from this sea of green and set their sights on the challenge ahead ―― the summit of Dayangtianwo Peak.

 

 

The unclimbed Dayangtianwo Peak pierces the sky like a sword amidst the misty clouds, quietly waiting for heroes to conquer it.

 

Harsh weather and snow-covered steep peaks make the climb to the summit extraordinarily difficult.

 

After weather changes, altitude sickness, and other setbacks, the team finally succeeds in reaching the summit.

 

The scree zone is an especially tough section of the route. One team member suffers a minor fall injury, but the physical pain does nothing to dampen the group’s enthusiasm or pace.

 

Along the trek, remnants of small villages destroyed by natural disasters can be seen everywhere, a shocking sight.

 

The snowy lake — Qiongchiri’awo Lake — like a bright mirror, reflects this last pure land on Earth.

 

Fearless explorers, embodying the outdoor spirit of “Endless Experience,” ultimately complete this high-intensity and arduous traverse.

 

In the world of nature, all things are equal.
