The 2014 Shenzhen Midi Music Festival – a New Year’s Eve spectacular produced by Kaisa – concluded successfully on January 2. Over the course of three days, high-caliber rock music from both China and abroad was presented to music fans from across the nation, delivering an electrifying New Year’s Eve celebration.

The 2014 Shenzhen Midi Music Festival also hosted the 5th China Rock Midi Awards ceremony, where 14 “Brick Awards” served as the best year-end summary for Chinese rock music in 2013. Dozens of bands, hundreds of staff members, and tens of thousands of audience members came together to create this groundbreaking “rock year-end gala.” Meanwhile, the Shenzhen Midi Music Festival was also the first music festival of 2014 in China, and its successful conclusion marked a strong start for the new year of Chinese rock music. The theme of the 2014 Midi Festival was “Reduce Honking,” aiming to remind everyone to reduce noise pollution and protect the environment through music and love. The 2014 Midi journey has begun, and in the new year, we will continue to move forward together.
