During the race, maintenance crews must follow drivers throughout the entire course, and when issues arise, they need to provide repair guidance via communication devices without delay. While drivers finish their stages and return to base to rest, it’s just the busiest time of day for the maintenance team—checking and repairing vehicles with thoroughness and precision, all to ensure the drivers can complete the next stage.
