Introduction to the HuaiBei International Auto Campsite:
Located in Jiugukou Natural Scenic Area (a national AAA-level scenic spot) in HuaiBei Town, Huairou District, Beijing HuaiBei International Auto Campsite is Beijing’s first self-drive-themed resort campsite to open to the public. The campsite integrates camping, RVs, outdoor activities, leisure, and accommodation, covering a total planned area of 120,000 square meters: including a 20,000-square-meter tent camping area that can accommodate 2,000 tents, and a 40,000-square-meter RV and car camping area that can host 400 vehicles for on-site camping. Here, visitors can enjoy the pleasures of tent camping, self-drive camping, RV camping, hiking and trekking, fishing, and outdoor barbecues, as well as participate in large-scale events such as major camping festivals, exciting barbecue parties, brand promotion events, and team-building training sessions.
Come on, drive your beloved car, escape the noise of concrete and steel, and let’s admire this different blue sky together and enjoy this rare serenity...
According to the evaluation standards of the International Camping Congress, HuaiBei International Auto Campsite will create Beijing’s first true five-star auto campsite. With the comprehensive service hall at its core, it radiates outward to the west, north, and south, forming four themed campsites—Borderland Camp (Area A), Sports Camp (Area B), Waterfront Camp (Area C), and Great Wall Camp (Area D). Camping enthusiasts and self-drive travelers can drive their own cars or RVs directly into any of the sub-campsites based on their preferences. Each sub-campsite is equipped with supporting service stations to provide services for campers and ensure their safety during nighttime stays.
The campsite also offers “private” camping areas where campers can not only park their vehicles in designated spots but also enjoy a “private outdoor garden” lifestyle, barbecuing and cooking with family and friends (each camping spot is equipped with power supply and water facilities). At the campsite entrance and comprehensive service hall, there are facilities such as a sunny dining bar, call center, reception center, medical station, showers, restrooms, and vehicle rescue services, all providing safe and efficient services to campers.

Continuously expanding entertainment and leisure facilities
The four themed camp zones offer a dynamic mix and varied layout, providing a rich array of entertainment options for campers of all ages and interests. Borderland Camp (Area A), located near the valley entrance, is a favorite among children. Kids can fly kites, learn outdoor cooking, and play games here. In the future, additional amenities such as hanging chairs, a kids’ castle, and a water play area will be added. Sports Camp (Area B) features soccer, mountain biking, ATV off-road motorcycling, with plans to introduce beach volleyball, tennis, and more water play options. This area is ideal for active young people who love sports and recreation; moderate exercise in the scenic area’s high-oxygen environment helps relax the nerves and increase blood oxygen levels. Great Wall Camp (Area D) offers hiking along the Great Wall and military simulation combat (LARP/realistic CS). There are up to four hiking routes starting from this area, making it perfect for outdoor hiking and mountaineering enthusiasts. The trails vary in difficulty with manageable elevation changes, allowing hikers to enjoy the beautiful views of the Great Wall. Waterfront Camp (Area C) features fishing, barbecues, hammocks, and other leisure facilities, with plans to develop a wooden cabin resort community on the eastern side of the waterfront in the future. Waterfront Camp is primarily a quiet retreat, ideal for those seeking a peaceful holiday. Stroll along the river, read under a hammock, fish by the stream, whisper among the trees… every camper here is seamlessly immersed in the beauty of nature, resting in the mountain valleys.
