The Scenic Waterfalls of Liangshan Are No Longer Free of Charge — Liangshan Recreation Area in Pingtung Will Now Charge an Admission Fee

The Liangshan Waterfall, located in Majia Township, Pingtung County, boasts stunning scenery and a well-planned park area that attracts large crowds of visitors on holidays. However, the previously free Liangshan Waterfall Recreation Area will now begin charging admission fees starting today.

Managed by Maolin National Scenic Area, the Liangshan Waterfall area consists of three levels of waterfalls. These include the first level, a water-friendly waterfall at a lower elevation, the second level, a steeper waterfall, and the third level, a majestic waterfall accessible only by stream trekking. The Liangshan Waterfall area offers beautiful and pleasant scenery where visitors can enjoy the stream, observe birds, sit on large rocks listening to the murmuring water, and immerse themselves in nature. It's a perfect recreation spot for family outings or hikers.

To manage the trails, plaza, w??ぁ⒙队??⑨髁晕藜竖??and other facilities within the recreation area, as well as to cover management costs and usage fees, an admission fee will be implemented: NT$80 on weekdays and NT$120 on holidays. A 50% discount is offered for all tickets before October 16.

Fees: General admission – NT$80 on weekdays, NT$120 on holidays; Concession tickets – NT$40 on weekdays, NT$60 on holidays; Group tickets – NT$60 on weekdays, NT$90 on holidays.

By Public Transport: Take the Pingtung Bus bound for Sandimen, get off at Ailiao Station, and walk for 20 minutes to reach the site.
By Car: From the Changzhi Interchange on Freeway 3 → Provincial Highway 24 → Shuimen → County Road 185 → Liangshan Waterfall.
