From March 12 to 19, 2014, the "2nd Asian Paragliding Accuracy Championship" was held as scheduled in Ranau, Sabah, Malaysia. A total of 55 flying enthusiasts from eight countries participated in the competition, including 41 male and 14 female pilots.
It is understood that Yang Aiping and Zhu Yanhua, two female team members of the VAUDE China Paragliding Team, represented China in this competition. The two athletes expressed that it was a great honor to compete internationally on behalf of their country and they hoped to win glory for the nation. On March 12, the opening ceremony was grandly held, with the organizing committee conducting a safety briefing and a round of pre-competition test flights. March 13 marked the first official competition day — come on, Team China!
