Peach blossoms at Peach Garden bloom like rosy clouds
Located by the Fengcheng River in Taizhou, Peach Garden is a theme park built to commemorate the Qing Dynasty playwright Kong Shangren, who wrote "The Peach Blossom Fan" in Taizhou. The garden is planted with ten thousand peach trees of one hundred varieties. In spring, the blossoms appear white as mist, pink as a light haze, and red as morning glow. Pavilions, rockeries, small bridges, and flowing water within the garden are nestled among the peach blossoms, as if enveloped in rosy clouds, creating a fairyland-like scene. During the Peach Blossom Festival, besides admiring the peach blossoms, visitors can also enjoy Huaiyang folk music by the Chen’an Studio where Kong Shangren wrote "The Peach Blossom Fan," sip tea, and taste peach blossom cakes. They can watch Hanfu fashion shows themed on "The Peach Blossom Fan" amidst the peach groves; take part in the "Search for the Peach Blossom Face" game; ring the auspicious bell. There are also limited-edition "Peach Blossom Fan" artworks created on-site by painters for visitors to choose and collect.
