As Taiwan’s food capital, Tainan boasts a dazzling array of traditional snacks, but the mere thought of rich, savory meat sauce is enough to make anyone’s mouth water. Many foodies regularly visit to relive cherished flavors. To let meat sauce enthusiasts showcase their skills, the Tainan City Government Tourism Bureau has combined an immersive mystery game with the launch of the "Meat Sauce Heroes Gathering – Battle at the Martial Arts Summit" event, allowing pros to sample Tainan’s cuisine all in one go.

Tainan’s meat sauce is famously delicious, featuring in dishes like braised pork rice, rice cakes, black bowl rice, rice vermicelli, oyster vermicelli, clam noodles, and fried rice noodles. This event combines mystery-solving with indulgence, where players can savor various meat sauce dishes while unraveling clues. By completing challenges, participants earn chances to win prizes in the fan page tournament.

The "Meat Sauce Heroes Gathering – Battle at the Martial Arts Summit" immersive game kicks off at 10 a.m. on October 9 at the Tainan Cultural and Creative Industries Park, running for a month. Teams of 2–4 players who register will receive a set of mystery-solving props. Following the clues, they’ll visit eight meat sauce specialty restaurants, complete tasks, and qualify for the fan page tournament’s lucky draw.
