Butter Chicken Biryani with Murukku – Experience Indian flavors on AirAsia’s new in-flight meals

AirAsia has announced that starting today, passengers on all AK flights can enjoy the famous Indian dish “Butter Chicken Biryani” and the South Indian fried snack “Murukku.”
AirAsia stated that the Butter Chicken Biryani features tender and aromatic Indian butter chicken, served with Indian-style steamed rice and creamy vegetable curry. Murukku is one of the beloved traditional Indian snacks among Malaysians. This spiral-shaped fried treat is made from flour and lentil powder and is also a festive food during Malaysia’s Deepavali celebration.
In addition to these two meals, AK flights will also offer corn chips with salsa and cola, as well as a new kids' meal featuring chicken nuggets. D7 flights will begin offering Butter Chicken Biryani, Murukku, Indian paratha with chicken curry starting October 15, 2016. Some flights will also feature steamed rice cake with spicy dip and sweet cake. Customers can pre-order these items online and enjoy up to 20% off.
