In 2014, HowToTrip entered its sixth year of development and has become the leading brand in self-guided travel most loved by travelers, with a membership base exceeding ten million. Among them, the “$1 Million to Find the Travel God” recruitment campaign will be a major highlight of this interactive event, aiming to find the most well-traveled and adventurous travelers. The final selected “Travel God” will offer fellow travelers some of the coolest, most exciting, and most fun travel recommendations from around the world.
The HowToTrip “$1 Million to Find the Travel God” campaign consists of three phases: open auditions for “Travel God” candidates; the “Travel God” competition; and the ultimate “Travel God” travel experience. The first round of open auditions for the “Travel God” officially launched on May 21, 2014, and the entire audition period runs from May 21, 2014 to June 19, 2014. During the event, HowToTrip will also launch corresponding interactive activities on Weibo and WeChat.
