The exterior is a very cute light yellow cottage, featuring both front and back courtyards filled with lots of plants, making the environment lush and comfortable. Both inside and outside, the homestay is decorated with many rural-style cute ornaments. The owner is very skilled in handicrafts—many of the furniture pieces were handmade by him. What’s even more amazing is that he built the entire house himself over two years without outsourcing any work—it was entirely his own creation. He had always dreamed of building his own house, so this homestay is essentially the realization of that dream!

The homestay has two six-person rooms, both with extra high ceilings and arranged in a very cute style. They’re mainly furnished with wooden pieces, giving off a warm atmosphere. Most eye-catching is the fact that they’ve designed the rooms as a fun, treehouse-style loft you can actually sleep in—like living out a childhood dream!

There are a total of four rooms: one six-person room, one four-person room, and two double rooms — more than your average small whole-house rental, which makes room allocation easier for multiple families or couples traveling together.

This “Early Summer Harmony” is another homestay I’d highly recommend for its excellent cost-performance ratio. It’s well-equipped yet surprisingly affordable, offering a washer, stereo system, various board games, and a full set of kitchenware. There's also a huge combined kitchen and living space where guests can gather, chat, and cook meals together during the vacation evenings—truly a very comfortable place to stay.

All rooms have dormitory-style bunk beds, giving off a nostalgic school vibe that can help strengthen bonds among travel companions XD

The homestay has two buildings right next to each other. The second building is equipped with a BBQ grill and brick oven, and you can book a brick-oven pizza making experience. The homestay will prepare the pizza ingredients and guide you through the process—it’s super fun and great for families or larger groups.

When it comes to all-in-one homestays in Kenting, you simply can’t miss this classic — Holy Villa. With its expansive indoor and outdoor areas, loft-style design, exclusive large swimming pool, plus KTV and mahjong facilities, it’s so comfortable you could easily spend the whole day indoors without going out!

The villa has a basic kitchen bar setup and offers plenty of free snacks such as biscuits, instant noodles, and drinks. While BBQ isn't allowed inside, there's a dedicated shared BBQ area outside, so grilling is not a problem.

The villa is designed mainly for two or four people, but extra beds or guests can be accommodated since the interior space is quite large—it’s no issue to sleep up to 15 people.

The most outstanding feature is undoubtedly the swimming pool—it’s huge and incredibly fun to swim in, making you feel like royalty. The holiday vibe is just amazing!

This Shepherd and the Sea whole-house homestay is located in Houwan, very close to the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium. You can also take a stroll around nearby Guishan Island and Guishan Bridge to enjoy the scenery. The surrounding area is peaceful and comfortable, and the homestay is decorated in a very cozy style with soft overall tones, creating a warm home-like atmosphere. There is a courtyard outside where you can have a barbecue, as well as a small splash pool for playing in the water. It’s perfect for small groups or family trips.

The small splash pool in the backyard is also a great spot to relax and lounge on a sun chair.

Inside the homestay, there is also a fully functional kitchen that’s decorated adorably. It turns out that many parents find it inconvenient to prepare baby food when traveling with children, so the homestay owner specially planned the kitchen and prepared many supplies to make things easier for these families. It’s a very thoughtful family-friendly homestay.

Finally, we’d like to recommend this “Sail Rock 866 Villa” located in the Sail Rock area. It’s a whole-house homestay with a touch of Mediterranean style. The space is quite large, spread across two floors. In addition to having a private courtyard and pool, what I find most special is that the accommodation comes with a large plate of fresh fruit (as shown on the table) and Häagen-Dazs ice cream too！

Although the courtyard doesn’t allow barbecues, they do have a kitchen that features a rare griddle where you can cook steak—pretty much the same as barbecuing, XD.

First time seeing a homestay with a griddle, how unique！

The courtyard pool is large and beautiful, and because the walls are high, the privacy is excellent.

The rooms are decorated with a Mediterranean vacation vibe, and since it’s very close to Sail Rock Beach, you can even directly overlook the sandy beach from the balcony of the second-floor rooms！

★ Review: Very close to Sail Rock Beach, just cross the road and you’re there. Great for water activities, the pool is beautiful, and the privacy is high.
